The fruit had a bright yellow color that fits the Sunrise name well. The flavor was complex, with a citrusy profile, a pleasant mild tartness, and sweetness that came through a little more strongly than the sour note in the outer flesh. It also seemed to have a light coconut direction in the background, though the coconut note did not fully develop because the tartness kept the flavor brighter and more balanced.
